On 11 November 1976, Benjamin Felix Bernard KREBS GIROUD and Jacques, and Jean-Pierre Louis GAGLIARDI HABERSAAT and all hockey fans and sports ice to give birth Skaters Club Meyrin.

The first Ordinary Meeting held Monday, April 10, 1978, nearly two years after the birth of the Club. And May 22 of the same year, an application is sent to the League Switzerland Ice Hockey.
Yet it was not until December 1978 that the current ice surface is officially open.
Initially, the club includes sections of ice hockey and figure skating. But from the beginning of the club, the leaders of both sections are realizing that cohabitation is difficult. Since 1978, the club was reorganized with two boards (hockey and figure skating), subordinated to a central President.
The club was in this form two sections until April 1984. At this date, the Ordinary General Meeting accepts the separation of the two sections to give birth to two associations clearly separated and managed in a completely autonomous way. The two clubs then equip new statutes in Extraordinary General Meetings held immediately after the dismantling of the original club.
Since then, the CPM is the ice hockey club, while the CPAM is the Figure Skating Club of Meyrin.
March 27, 2004, it sets the CPM and the CPAM organize their 25 years of existence. A big party in full swing with skating demonstration by Swiss medalists, with a match between hockey players and skaters and a great meal together.
In autumn 2005, the company creates a CPM. This company covers the first team, as well as professional trainers.
The year 2008 will be a year of great change for the CPM. The long awaited moment finally arrives. An ice rink is built Meyrin the great joy of all. The inauguration will take place in February 2009. |
