Venue Description

The Midlands Roller Arena is an international-sized 40m x 20m covered rink and features Sport Court flooring along with seating for spectators, changing facilities, showers and lockers. The arena is predominantly designed for inline hockey and roller sports but can also accommodate other team sports and activities. The rink benefits from excellent facilities for players, coaches, referees and spectators who can enjoy access to a dedicated café serving healthy food and hot or cold drinks with a skate-up path and private seating, along with ample free car parking.

GB Uni Series Cup 2013 - Southampton Jaguars (JAG)

Teaminfo Southampton Jaguars established 1994 have competed in top level inline hockey since they were created. Since 2001 the Jags have been competing in the BIPHA Premier league and train at the Bisley arena. Before then The Jags competed in the BRHA League in which they was very successful winning several honors. The Jags are an ambitious club who look to play all over the world, since we have started we have travelled the world entering tournaments in USA, Slovakia, Ireland, Sweden, Hong Kong and Spain.

Cross Over Cup III - BRHA Misfits (MIS)

Teaminfo The Misfits are a select team of BRHA players who represent the BRHA in inter-association and international tournaments. The Misfits are participating in all Major League Roller Hockey competitions in Europe during the 2012-13 season.

Teaminfo Leicester Dragons have been established since 1997 and enjoyed many years in hockey. The team is captained by Dean Payne who has also coached the younger age groups to play hockey for the past 14 years. The Dragons were the pioneers in this country associated with MLRH in America. They were Euro cup winners 2004 in Sheffield, 2005 in Sheffield, 2006 in Prague, Euro cup 2nd place in Czech Republic in 2007 and also winners of World amateur inline hockey series 2005. The Dragons have had some great fun times in hockey and their almost legendary hockey trips to Tenerife are still talked about and was attended by some top hockey players in this country such as Glenn Evans. The team is really looking forward to playing Major League in this country at a rink that has been built in the centre of the UK for this purpose.

Teaminfo The Oxford Blues Skater Hockey Club exists for the benefit of its players and the game of Skater Hockey. It is non profit making and run by the parents of players. We organise training, friendly and league matches and generally provide the facilities (like this website) of an amateur sports club. The club provides opportunities for all ages and abilities to play skater Hockey. From minnows toddling around the pitch, to ice-hockey players wanting off-ice training, to Veterans and keen Dads – who should know better! The aim is to have fun. If its enjoyable, then doing it better comes naturally. Our aims are for all players get better at the game, encourage teamwork and sportsmanship and then, maybe – just maybe, win a few games….

Cross Over Cup III - SE Steam Rollers (SES)

Teaminfo The Milton Keynes & South East Steamrollers are two senior inline hockey teams brought together by Mike Lucas to play puck hockey in the BIPHA Southern League in Bisley. MK have also entered a team into the Midlands B league to pass the time in the off-season. The MK Steamrollers were formed in 2011 & have recently completed their second season, finishing 3rd in Division 3, & earning promotion after a playoff. The SE Steamrollers were a new team for 2012/13 consisting of hugely experienced players from all over the south east of England, the midlands, & of course Milton Keynes. The SE Steamrollers joined the league in place of MK in Division 2, with MK effectively starting again in Division 3. SE came 1st in Division 2 & look forward to competing in Division 1 next season. We train every Tuesday from 8:00-9:30pm at the Midlands Roller Arena, Lutterworth. The session is currently open to anyone over the age of 18 with full kit (body armour optional), but please check with us on Facebook beforehand. We are available for friendlies/tournaments, so please contact us via either the SE or MK facebook groups.
